The Royal Islander Resort La Plage is now open

Update December 8th, 2018

The News You Have Been Waiting For From Royal Islander Club

The Royal Islander Resort La Plage is now open following the devastation sustained by Hurricane Irma over one year ago.
Significant progress in the reconstruction and restoration efforts at La Terrasse has been made and we are now focusing on the interior of the units. A reopening date for La Terrasse will be announced very soon.
Despite the unprecedented damage sustained throughout the resort, our passionate team and construction crews have been working above and beyond to ensure that the renovation is completed for you.
You will return to a newly refreshed La Plage! All of your favorite amenities including the hot tub and Tortuga Beach Café have been reconstructed and improved.
Throughout the resort, most units are now equipped with upgraded windows and doors, and the 38 units that were severely damaged are fully outfitted with new furniture. All units are now equipped with upgraded WiFi.
Maho Village is also making remarkable progress and it’s getting to be its busy, buzzy self again. Casino Royale underwent a massive renovation and its façade is one of the island’s most stunning contemporary architectural masterpieces. Some of your favorite restaurants are also now open.
It has been a major endeavor and, while there is still much to be done, we hope that you will be pleased with the massive work that has been done to restore the resorts to their original Caribbean splendor.
Thank you for your patience and your overwhelming support during the past months. We look forward to welcoming you back to your home away from home. Management Royal Islander Club
